Oh Canada, our home and native land! As a proud Canadian company since 2004, we’re always excited to represent our home country, so today’s announcement is significant to Hawk Host. We have officially launched our cloud hosting services and infrastructure within our Toronto, Canada, data center! As part of this infrastructure upgrade, we can now offer a more diverse range of hosting services in Toronto, including semi-dedicated hosting, reseller hosting, our new Professional+ hosting, and, after much anticipation, cloud computes!

AlmaLinux recently released tools and a guide for migrating from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7. We haven’t offered CentOS 6.9 in some time, but there was a time when we did offer CentOS 6 as an operating system option. We decided to take our last known CentOS 6 image and use the redhat-upgrade-tool to move to CentOS 7.

At Hawk Host, we’ve been supporting Cloudflare services on our network in various ways since our initial partnership in 2011, when we were among the first 25 hosting providers to partner with them. With the partnership, this meant using cPanel, any domain hosted on our servers could quickly sign up and integrate without ever interacting with Cloudflare directly.
