Our team has worked hard in the background for several months, upgrading our cloud management panel and infrastructure in all locations, including Singapore. We’re happy to announce that you can now order cloud computes in our Singapore location again powered by our new cloud management panel.
Our Singapore infrastructure is now powered by high-performance AMD EPYC 7543 (Zen 3 / Milan) processors running at a blistering all-core turbo speed of 3.7 GHz. We also took this opportunity to upgrade the storage to be powered entirely by NVM Express drives. With these high-performance NVMe drives and our triple replicated Storpool storage cluster, our storage in Singapore is exceptionally performant and more redundant than local storage cloud offerings. As our team was upgrading infrastructure, all current users in Singapore were upgraded to our new hardware with minimal disruption.
Our new cloud management brings many features and a modern backend for future development. All cloud computes are now managed from a single unified platform. All new servers and rebuilds utilize cloud-init with our expanded operating system lineup. We offer expanded recovery options with Finnix and System Rescue, which are now available. A more modern VNC platform for a better console experience in the event you require it. Our bandwidth usage statistics and graphs have been expanded to provide better insight into your day to day usage. If you have more advanced needs or a feature suggestion, we recommend that you reach out. The panel is quickly being developed, along with several features that are available only to our team until they’re ready for general availability.
If you’re not interested in Singapore, we also recently launched cloud computes in Toronto and continue to upgrade and add additional hardware to support our users in many locations. If there is a location you’re interested in and we don’t currently offer any services, please let us know. Our team is continuously evaluating locations to expand our shared, reseller, semi-dedicated, and cloud compute products, and your feedback is valuable in helping us make our decisions.
