Cloud Hosting Now Available in Toronto!

Oh Canada, our home and native land! As a proud Canadian company since 2004, we’re always excited to represent our home country, so today’s announcement is significant to Hawk Host. We have officially launched our cloud hosting services and infrastructure within our Toronto, Canada, data center! As part of this infrastructure upgrade, we can now offer a more diverse range of hosting services in Toronto, including semi-dedicated hosting, reseller hosting, our new Professional+ hosting, and, after much anticipation, cloud computes!

Our cloud compute plans are a private server environment with full root access, giving you complete control over the OS, server environment, and configuration of the applications you run from the compute. Computes are an excellent resource for users who need to escape the limits implemented as part of shared hosting or more advanced users who are comfortable managing a Linux system and enjoy having the level of control a compute provides.

We previously offered shared web hosting in Toronto, and due to its popularity, we quickly realized the importance of investing in Toronto’s future growth. That investment comes in the form of upgraded infrastructure, both at the hardware and network level, and an expansion of the services we can offer within Toronto. Our new cloud infrastructure is fully redundant at the network and hardware level, eliminating any single point of failure to continue meeting our 99.9% uptime SLA. The servers powering the cloud are loaded up with AMD EPYC Zen 4 series (Genoa) processors and high-performance NVMe drives provide ample CPU and IO capacity throughout our cloud infrastructure.
